Hello Stephens Community,
It’s hard to believe it’s almost November, especially seeing how amazing the weather is. And this weather is perfect for some garden work (details below)! We were also very lucky to have a warm and sunny day for our Stephens Sprint fundraiser. The kids really gave it their all and so did you. See below for a thank you message and details on how much we raised.
If you weren’t able to donate but would still like to do something for our school, below are a few different ways you can do that. If you’d like to become a regular PTO volunteer please fill out the BE A PART OF THE STEPHENS PTO FORM, reach out to us by email (glennstephenspto@gmail.com) or come to our next meeting (details below).

STEPHENS SPRINT - THANK YOU & RESULTS
As we enter November and start preparing for Thanksgiving we wanted to express our gratitude to everyone for their contributions to Stephens Sprint 2026 fundraiser. This year’s donations reached $13,188 and combined with the amount received through business sponsorships we have surpassed our goal of $15,000.

EAGLE SPIRIT WEAR
Show your school pride with new Stephens Spirit Wear. Limited merchandise will be available for purchase at the Bake Sale on Tuesday, November 3 and online until November 20.
GIVING TREE/TEACHER WISH LIST - SUPPORT OUR TEACHERS & STAFF
Similar to previous years, we’ve compiled a wish list of items our teachers and staff would find helpful in their work with our students. With conferences coming up, we thought this would be a great opportunity to share their requests with our families.
For convenience, we’ll be managing gifts through Amazon Wish List this year:
Please see this document STEPHENS GIVING TREE WISH LIST, which organizes the requested items by teacher or staff member so you can easily find them on the Amazon Wish List. When purchasing an item, feel free to select the gift option to include a personalized note. We’ll make sure the note gets to the intended teacher or staff member.

ELECTION BAKE SALE
Stephens Elementary is a polling location on Tuesday, November 3, and we’ll be holding a bake sale to raise funds for the PTO. We need your help!
Donate Baked Goods:
Any treats (cookies, muffins, cakes, etc.) are appreciated, including gluten-free or vegan options. Please drop off labeled, individually wrapped items at the Stephens office on Monday, November 2nd (preferred) or by 8:00 AM on Election Day. Don’t forget to label any of your containers for easy pick-up after the sale.Volunteer for a Shift:

SCHOOL GARDEN FALL CLEAN-UP
Please join the Stephens Garden Club on Saturday, November 7 from 2-4pm for our fall clean up to help prepare our garden for outdoor learning. Gardeners of all ages and sizes are welcome to join and help divide plants, re-establish paths, and assist with sheet mulching. The Garden Club will provide tools for all and gloves for the kids. Adults are encouraged to bring their own gloves.

NOVEMBER PTO MEETING
We would love for you to join us for our PTO meeting on Monday, November 9 from 6-7:30pm at the School Library. We will be going over our past events and activities and planning for future ones. This is always a great opportunity to connect with other Stephens families and learn how to support our students and teachers.

Our next meal out opportunity is happening at Hildale’s Shake Shack on Tuesday, November 10 from 10am-9pm. Mention Donation Day at the register or drive-thru or enter promo code DONATE on the Shake App, web or kiosk.

BOX TOPS
We are currently at almost 60% of our new $1000 goal for this school year. And this number keeps growing every day. Thank you to everyone scanning their receipts. If you have not signed up yet, you can do it at any time. For every new member who registers using our referral code we will get $5! We can see that over the past 3 months few new families downloaded the app but have yet to scan their first receipt and that’s a crucial step. A reminder that this first receipt does not need to have Box Tops items on it to qualify for the referral bonus. And there’s many other exciting bonuses with potential for big money going to the PTO.
